"A Slice of the Blarney" is a full length comedy about a very wealthy Irish family. With the help of his doctor and maid, the father fakes his death to see who in his "loving" family truly deserves to inherit his fortune. His "last request" is for an authentic Irish wake, which takes place in Act Two. This play premiered with The Vagabond Players, an Equity company in Burbank. The Bay Area premiere took place at the Haas-Lilienthal House in San Francisco! In fact, this was the first play produced at the house. "A Slice of the Blarney" has been included in the Samuel French catalogue that will be published this summer.
